With the blessing of His Eminence,
Metropolitan Hilarion, on Thursday, August 12, His Grace Michael, Bishop
of Geneva and Western Europe, conducted an archpastoral visit to the
parish of Blessed Augustine in Jacmel, Haiti. The parish recently
obtained property on which the parishioners hope to build a new church.
During his visit, Bishop Michael served a Service of Thanksgiving and
blessed the new land (currently a banana plantation).
